Having a baby changes your life, and there are so many things “they” don’t tell you. My husband and I recently had our first child and in the past few months have had a crash course in life with a baby. We’ve endured the sleepless nights which now seem oddly normal, the crying and spitting-up, the aches and pains from walking baby all over the place to try and soothe her. We’re entering teething territory and working on tummy time. Our place is filled with baby things: diapers, wipes, crib, co-sleeper, dressers, clothes, toys, a bouncer, a SweetPeace, a changing table and all sorts of things that seem to multiply each month and occupy every spare centimeter of space.
Our parenting “style” is attachment parenting. We don’t do the “cry it out” stuff. We’re not environmental “whackos” but we do believe in safety (such as not using bottles with BPA) and whenever possible, natural ways and means (such as breastfeeding and babywearing.) We’re still learning, and I created this blog as a way to pass on the information I have gathered about various issues and items.
I hope you find something helpful here. Thank you for reading & God Bless.
